SUNDAY SCHOOL RESUMES SEPTEMBER 14, 2008

September through May, children grades preschool to 5th Grade may choose to be dismissed to Sunday School following the Children's Time in the worship service.

Our church has a unique Rotation Sunday School program!  In the past , we studied Jesus in the Temple, Parable of the Sower, Go & Seek, The Lord's Prayer, Blessed are the Peace Makers, Jonah and the Greatest Gift.  We learn these stories through Bible study, movies, crafts, kitchen fun, and games.  We think the kids learn a lot this way.   They are given a key verse each Sunday and if memorized by the end of the rotation, they can earn a prize.  We also do this with the Lord's Prayer.  At the end of each rotation, we have one Sunday where the kids stay in Church and a Sunday that we play games or do a craft/cooking project.

SUNDAY SCHOOL KICK-OFF!

Sunday School kicks off on September 14, 2008!  Food Fight!  Wear old clothes and old shoes.  Ages 3 through 5th grade.  You can bring food for the fight, but the teachers will determine whether to use it or not.  Suggestions of food are: cooked pasta, applesauce, cereal, oatmeal, whipped cream, pudding.  No ketchup, mustard, pop, or hard stuff.  We just want to have fun!!
